During this class we will be making some jerk marinade and taking about the different ingredients that go into the mix, but most importantly, we will be having fun!

Presenter: Natricia Walters, born and raised in Jamaica and immigrated to Canada 17 years ago. Natricia is the mom of two awesome children and works full-time as a healthcare worker. Natricia loves working with her hands, whether it be cooking, sewing or writing. Her spare time is spent with her children and reading.

Come experience Métis culture at St. Albert’s Historic River Lot 24 through dance, drop-in activities, and intimate conversations about aspects of Métis culture. After visiting our historic homes and grain elevators, be sure to explore the new outdoor exhibit Lii Buflo: A Métis Way of Life produced in collaboration with Métis community members, knowledge keepers, Elk Island National Park & the Arts and Heritage Foundation of St. Albert.
