Creating Realistic Dialogue
Forsyth Hall, St. Albert Public Library
Sat, Sept 10th 12noon-1pm

Theatre artists become used to using improv to loosen up and laugh, but improv is so much more.  In this session you will work with a professional actor who has used improv to create award winning plays, and to train doctors, social workers and police. In this session we will warm up with fun improv and then move into creating dramatic scenes and dialogue using a variety of situations. Come play, learn and have fun with other adults who enjoy theatre.

Basic Stage Fight
Forsyth Hall, St. Albert Public Library
Sat, Sept 10th 1-1:50pm

Stage-fight is different from what is used in film. In this fun session you will learn 3 basic moves (slap, strangle, trip) and how, with practice, to make them look realistic. These moves can be used in serious dramatic and comedy scenes. (Wear comfortable clothing and absolutely no jewelry.)
