As a music educator in Sturgeon Public School Division, Kyle has taught a variety of High School and Junior High Concert Band, Senior and Junior High Choir, Jazz Band, Vocal Jazz, Guitar, Drumline, Ukulele Club and even a few years of elementary music. During his years of elementary music, Kyle quickly developed a love for using the ukulele as a main teaching tool for rhythm, harmony, and melody concepts for the young musician. Kyle began his teaching career in Australia where he was able to see different music education practices that placed emphasis on the independent study of musicianship at all grade levels with students having access to private weekly music tutors. Having worked as a private music educator overseas and then as a classroom music teacher in Canada, Kyle uses a variety of teaching experiences to support all his students. Kyle has worked with Gary on a variety of Ukulele based workshops including North Central Teachers Convention Association (NCTCA), Calgary UkeFest (CALL), Music Conference Alberta, GETCA, and repeat presentations at St. Albert Cultivates the Arts Society.

Gary Glewinski
As a freelance musician, accompanist and multi-instrumentalist, Gary has played across much of the world. He's performed in many musical styles: rock, jazz, blues, bluegrass, gospel, Scottish country dance, Christian worship, pop, reggae, R&B, musical theater, and Latin music. As an Instrumental Instructor in Scotland, Gary assisted tuition at Napier University in Edinburgh, lectured at Motherwell College, and taught students in the North Lanarkshire school district for almost a decade, where he was responsible for preparing music pupils for their practical exams and for their development as musicians - in both individual and group settings - before moving to Canada and establishing a teaching practice in St. Albert. Gary has experience in teaching all age groups and ability levels, from beginners to University students. Gary offers lessons in ukulele, guitar, bass guitar, and mandolin.
